An extremely luxurious nose is filled with aromas of ripe tomato, sassafras and light notes of peppermint that tease the senses as each takes a turn at center stage. Meanwhile, a touch of sweet wood emerges as a hint of truffle glides just out of reach. Sweet and smooth, like velvet in the mouth, this wine is perfectly balanced. A long finish, combined with pleasurable notes of raspberry on the palate, make this wine perfect to drink with a wide range of foods, but complex enough to drink on its own.
