Wine Advocate A spectacular bargain, the 2007 Chardonnay Sawbuck (just over 5,000 cases produced), from cool Mendocino County vineyards, reveals tart acids, crisp white currant, honeysuckle, white peach, and lemon blossom notes, a fresh, vibrant personality, medium body, and no evidence of oak despite the fact that this wine was barrel-aged for three months prior to bottling. Score: 88. —Robert Parker, August 2009.
